Designed as an exact reproduction of the handguard section of the MP5SD's integral suppressor, the shroud gives your A5 a menacing "suppressed" look. The shroud gives you a hand-filling place to grip your marker for steadier shooting, and its short length means it doesn't get in your way going around tight corners - just like putting a compact, integral suppressor on the real machine pistol.
